Privacy Policy

The short version: ODDS has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. We don't want your personal data — the game is designed so we never need it.

1. Who we are

ODDS ("we", "us") is a party game for iOS with a browser-based companion for guests, available at joinodds.app. For anything related to this policy, contact support@joinodds.app.

2. What the game handles

• Table identity. When you join a table you choose a nickname, an emoji and a color. That's it — no email, no phone number, no account. This identity is never linked to who you really are.
• Game data. Bets, points, and cards played live in the server's memory for the duration of the night. Rooms are automatically deleted after roughly 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Custom dossiers. Markets written by players during a night exist only inside that private room, are shown anonymously, and are deleted with the room. They are never public.
• Season scores. If a table keeps a running score across nights, we store aggregate points tied to the nickname + emoji only. These aggregates are automatically purged after 90 days of inactivity.
• On-device preferences. Your language, sound toggle, and prefilled nickname are stored locally on your device (local storage) and never leave it.

3. What we do NOT do

• No user accounts, no profiles.
• No advertising and no advertising SDKs.
• No advertising identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites, and no sale of data.
• No access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.

4. Anonymous usage statistics

We measure how the game is used with PostHog — strictly anonymously:

• Events are aggregate game actions only (e.g. "a night started with 6 players", "a bet was locked"). They never contain your nickname, the content of cards, answers, or anything you write.
• On the web (guest experience and this site), analytics use no cookies and nothing persists beyond the tab — which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
• No tracking across apps or websites, no advertising identifiers, and this data is never sold or shared for marketing.

5. Purchases

The optional Party Pass subscription is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to validate purchases; it receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipts — never your name, email, or payment details. 6. Age

ODDS is rated 17+ and is not directed at children. The SPICY deck is additionally hidden behind an in-app age confirmation.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no account and no personal identity, there is typically nothing for us to look up about you. If you believe we hold personal data concerning you (for example a nickname you consider identifying, within its 90-day window), email support@joinodds.app and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we add features that change what data is handled, we will update this policy first and change the effective date above.
